Overview: Moving Beings Workshop: Beginner Yoga Series Week 1: Hatha - Foundations (90 minutes) Week 2: Vinyasa: Go with the Flow (90 minutes) Week 3: Tying it Together: Going Further (90 minutes) Week 4: Yin: Surrender (90 minutes) PRICING: Full Workshop Registration (All 4 classes): $85 Individual classes: $25 per session Are you curious about yoga? That's an excellent starting point! This series is designed for beginners to guide you onto the mat and help you discover a practice that suits your needs. Throughout this four-part workshop series, we'll delve into yoga fundamentals, breaking down common yoga postures and how to adapt them to benefit your unique body. Additionally, we'll explore the underlying principles of yoga including philosophies, movement techniques, breathwork, and meditation. At the end of this series, you will have experience practicing hatha, vinyasa, and yin styles of yoga, feel comfortable with key yoga terms and vocabulary, and have the confidence to take your practice to the next level. This workshop is a great opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery and well-being. Each workshop class welcomes you into the space with 15 minutes of tea paired with discussions of yoga history and philosophy, followed by 5-10 minutes of breathwork and meditation. Afterward, there will be a guided practice exploring the theme of each session.
